Now I am back feeling artistic and I have some time to give what project I would like to tackle next. I been talking about doing a book about 5 or 6 months, I am not sure if I mentioned here, memory isn't what it once was lol. I been going mad trying to come up with an idea I hope is unique different and tasteful. It hit me tonight, the photos, the book cover, the layout and a few other unique touches I hope and even have the name thanks to my wife. I am like ecstatic,

I would love sell a million but if I publish 10 I would be happy, its not what recognition I get but I accomplished something that I have always wanted to do. I already have two models who are willing to work on this with me just to see it done and there is a possible 3rd model.

I was just sitting here listening to tunes and just lost in thought and the book layout, the script, the photos I want and a few other ideas I hope are a bit unique. Now I have to work out some of the details and I can start almost anytime, I could even start on this in a week or two. Like I said can use tripods for now.

Congrats AL. Lack of free time is certainly an impediment to most artistic ventures. Often, so is creativity( it is in my case:( ). So if you have the idea, its half the job done. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Excellent. Glad to hear you have jumped into it. It's something I've always wanted to do too. Maybe, some day, in my second life ;)

Good to see you excited AL. From the little we've seen of your portrait work I'm sure whatever you have in mind will be something worth seeing for sure.

I have a book idea in my head, too. To my knowledge, the idea has never been done before (at least, not in the context I have in mind). Not sure if I will have the time to complete it, but I have considered making it a collaborative effort, as I have plenty of contacts here in the pro/semi-pro photo arena. When an idea like that comes to mind, it really gives you a boost.

Well I will have my Art Manager putting out feelers so when I can get a rough draft together we already have people to approach. My problem is I am always thinking of what I would like to do next is my many obsessions. Down time never means you are unable to do think, seeking inspiration, read something you have never before, learn something new and although it bites being semi useless physically no use in wasting mental capacity just over minor bumps and scratches lol.

The only way there will be any sneak peaks will be when I do an image, hate it, try and convince myself it is as not as bad or the right feel, then have you all have a look and see what others think of it, but in the end it won't matter I have decided I disliked it.

And this book is just an ego thing, it will be as good as I can follow through from what is in my thought to get to a finished product.

That's awesome..having a purpose/goal will help with your recovery that much faster! Best of luck in your new journey! YaY!
Funny, I had an idea for a book just yesterday but I am a long way from accomplishing such a task and have enough on my plate already for the next 2 years! I think it's totally doable though and not too hard to accomplish! :fingerscr
