PS playing with a rose

The red rose is the last blooming one this year and I tried to capture it. Well, I didn't like the picture very much and played around with it - what do you say?

It's beautiful! I love the pencil sketch look. I want the rose to pop off the page though, more 3d. Can you use some red/green colour to bring the rose forward?

Very neat effect. I think that it's passed beyond 'photograph' and into art at this stage, but I like it.

I like both. the original is a bit dark at the top of the rose, not sure if it can be lightened.
The one on the left is pretty and looks like a sketch. I agree with it needing a bit more colour.

the photoshopped image looks like a watercolor painting!

I agree, it's more a piece of art now than a photograph. But it's really nice, so very good work! :)
