Nice detail in the trees with you being in the shade like that.. how deep is it?

It's not very deep...maybe just up past ankles at some parts..up to waist in the deepest.
Hdr can do wonders with different lighting conditions huh? That's why I like it so much!

Today I was walking on the beaver pond in Fish Creek the ice is 4 to 6 inches thick. Cool to watch the small fish under the ice.
