I put the camera right on the ice to get this image and hoped for the best. I anchored it by the strap so it didn't end up in the creek.

I like this one, the B&W treatment is excellent. I guess we know who is wishing for ice gear from Santa ;)

Lovely.

It's weird how much ice you guys have already and we haven't seen a flake of snow yet. Supposed to be 12 degrees today!

Terrific ... and we are getting 34 degrees here ... hotter in some areas. :headslap:

funny how no one is satisfied with the weather: it's too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry......:headslap: 34 sounds nice......

Yeah...funny thing with the ice is it was +10 yesterday and most of last week and it's been chinooking alot here...it really hasn't been that cold although Fish Creek is in a valley with alot of tree shade around the creek and I've noticed it gets quite cold down there in the morning. I'm up to wearing tights under jeans then sweater, vest, fleece jacket and outer jacket, gloves, scarf and hat. And 2 layers of socks...gets cold when you sit on the ground or the ice which I do alot.

I'm with MA on the +34....too hot to sleep! :yuck: ....mind you -34 is no treat either!

Sweet! Love the ice!

Yah..had that one snow day then nothing since! That is not the norm here but I'll take it!
