In Australia ... we don't need signs like that to tell us that will happen. It scares me to think somewhere in the world they do!!

me too! it along the lines of 'don't use the hair dryer while taking a bath'. I figure that if you do, it's natural selection at work :evil2:

I wonder who the warning is for: the car drivers or the bikers?

Actually I think in Australia they hand these stickers out to car drivers with their licenses as instructional information, to which many comply enthusiastically :wall-an:

What are shaved legs worth? No extra for me on that count. :)

I realise we do jest, but this is a topic somewhat close to my heart. There is a certain percentage of drivers that think it is fun to buzz cyclists. It certainly won't be fun for either if there is a miscalculation.

Yeh same for me. People actually deliberately knock cyclists off their bikes around here from time to time. It's dangerous and most oif us know someone who has been badly hurt or killed.

All joking aside, it is terrible the way that some people can be when driving. I have been riding my horse on the road and had people buzz us, blow their horns right beside us and even swerve. They think that it's funny to see the horse react.

My husband used to do a lot biking on the road and he had some near misses.
