Shot this during a BBQ this weekend.

I think that there's a small blue overcast on the clouds.
What do think?

I quite like this: the foreground, middle and horizon are all interesting. The foreground is what totally capture my attention and the rocks lead me to the horizon. I would clone out the ships/rigs on the horizon to see how it looks as I can't really see what they are but the put bumps on the horizon. Might look better might not. The cloud is interesting too.

nice work! :highfive:

Nicely composed...I too would take out the ships...would make for a cleaner photo IMO.
Great leading lines here too! :)

Have to agree...the foreground is the winnner here. Love all the rocks!

Looks like a polariser was used here to get that water so clear. Nice.

Thanks All. I didn't use a polarizer as I didn't have the right size for this lens.
I agree about the ships. They are bright and don't add anything to the photo.

Amazing clarity in the water for no polarizer! Nice.

LOL MA.

I'm with the rest here - all the magic is in the foreground.
Even though I like that big fluffy cloud - I might crop it out to see if it makes the image stronger.

I like the rocks in the foreground and the channel of water through the middle leads your eye with a sense of direction to the horizon.

Thank you all for your input. I lost a lot of details in the sky. I really need a ND filter.

What about this one. Post processing landscape is harder than what I was thinking :)

Clone the person out of that last one .... or if an HDR Merge then use one of the original shots to make them sharp ... and you've got a beauty there!

It's not an HDR. It's a 5 sec exposure. Actually, it's good that he's not blurred more than that :)
What about now?

Lovely shots.
I agree the with out the person is the better result...although the blurry person is kind of spooky cool.
