Wow, what a wonderful friend to have Bambi. Is she or he a Border collie?

thanks everyone. Yes he's a border collie. name of D'Arcy. He's a big lovable goof who's very gentle with everyone.

He had just finished having a roll in the snow and I loved how the flakes on him. You have to be quick to get a shot of him as he's so fast. But I am happy with the sharpness of the eyes.

Hey Bambi. You probably already know that the border collie breed is the most intelligent dog in the world. how very neat. Life just would not be so nice without our dogs and pets ! - jimmy

If I ever get another dog it will be a Boarder Collie without question. They are wonderful animals and you have done him justice here. Great shot!

thank MAW! :D

Border collie make great pets. but they need tons of exercise and need to be with you as much as possible. Many people run into problems because they can't cope with either the intelligence or energy level.

I can vouch for that. Our Border Collie wore us out! Now he's gone we are actually happy to not be tied down to a dog and the demands and responsibilities. I can say that after over a year without him because we wept for months after his death.
Marlee has reminded us of that. We are enjoying his challenge and the fun he brings, he's a good little watchdog too ... but we'll be happy to give him back also.
