C&C - Going to the Dogs

I love the camera angle Russ.

You got great focus on the ball ... but not as much on the dogs I think.

The scene looks slightly tilted to the left.

Lots of shadows on the dogs I would have thought the umbrella should have corrected if it was placed in a good position.

There are distractions such as the ladder/stool which should have been moved I think seeing as you had time to set up the off camera flash (ocf) and brella.

One dog is hard to work with ... but two!! I can imagine how difficult this may have been!

Hi Russ,

This is a difficult scene to pull off well. MA makes some good points though about distractions. Once you are going through the trouble of setting up an umbrella, attention should also be paid to the whole scene. Here, I find the scene cluttered. I think it might have been better to use the props and shoot only one dog and more close-up.
