Do you like the composition of the photograph? I tried to provide a nice frame for the photo. The main goal was to highlight the Skytrain and its importance in downtown Taipei. What kind of feeling do you sense from the photograph? How could it be better? I took a b/w, but I really liked the coloured one better. It shows how sunny it is in January in Taipei. Any feedback, would be awesome.

I like idea of the framing with the 2 buildings and the vanishing point of the tracks. Those lines are strong and my eyes first went to the train, down the tracks and then to the 2 framing buildings constraining the sky.

I also like the reflections on the buildings.

What I would have liked to see is a little wider perspective, so that the 2 buildings don't get cut (top and sides).

Also I felt it could be interesting to see more detail of the Skytrain, maybe by having it closer to the camera, which could make it stand out even more as your main subject.

So I may have tried a wider lens, wait for the train to be a bit closer to the camera and afterward might have cropped it to a more panoramic ratio. But that's just me. ;-)

(btw. what kind of lens did you use for this?)

This is a nice clean shot with good composition and I like it.

Sephibox hit it on the head for me "Also I felt it could be interesting to see more detail of the Skytrain, maybe by having it closer to the camera, which could make it stand out even more as your main subject."

THAT would make the shot much more dynamic. The shot needs a little something more in the foreground, and that would definitely do it.

Hope that helps - Marko
