I love the color and composition in this one. It's "just" a brickwall but I can't stop looking.

Am I the only one that thought, either something is wrong with my monitor or that the picture had awfull compression artifacts until I realized it's the actual bricks, being lighter at some points, where Graffity has been removed etc?

The stickers and stripes of blue on the door and the lower window seem somewhat strangely out of place, and because of their color they jump into my eyes after some seconds and they stick there. That's not necessarily negative, just strangely distracting, because I want to know what it is. Looks like StaTravel stickers or somthing :)

All in all very nice!

Certainly vivid! About the only critique I can see is the whites are bit blown out. Because of that ... I wonder if something like an orton effect would work here?

Might be my editing that makes the whites blown out, M.A. but it was taken when the sun was low in the sky. That is a west wall and the sun was pounding it. But it made for interesting shadows.

Yes Sephi, the bricks have been painted over a number of times to cover graffitti. Not sure what the blue lines are, possibly painters masking tape?

*Edit* Went and found the original file and cropped out the door window. The blue stripes on the wall window is masking tape, blue stickers are for a security company:

I really like it. All the blinds are drawn but one, and you can't see in because of the glare ... I find myself thinking "what are they doing back there??" It feels like something is going to happen.

I like this one Jas! Interesting comp, interesting windows.

I agree with MA on the white door looking a bit overexposed though.

Hope that helps - Makro
