Keep trying Bambi you will get a nice marsh (bulrush) shot for sure.
I have tried many times my self. The problem with bulrushes is they
crate alot of clutter (busy).

The trick is to find something in the marsh that is different, a bird, animal
or tracks and include a subject in the marsh so the eye has something to
anchor on. Even if it is very small like in this case a single bulrush standing.

SAFETY NOTE for everyone: Marshes are still ponds for the most part and can
have thin ice. Stay on the marked trails and just zoom in on the key areas.

I like it and am drawn to the same kinds of places. isn't this a cattail though? Maybe they're the same thing with different names. Still processing some shots in a cattail marsh myself and should have them tomorrow.
