Frosty indeed!! That 2nd to last shot ... the fence leading us to the tree is the best here in my opinion :)

I think you try to upload a photo that's too big the forum auto resizes it. However, this process results in a softening of the photos so you lose the sharpness you may have had.

Not sure if you try to upload something too HUGE if the forum simply rejects it.

The fenceline with the tree is my favorite also. But I do like the others as well.

Yep, the fence as a leading line is my fave. I like the trees in shot 2 and the silhouettes in shot 3.

Agreed about the fencline one, but the last one is good as well. Not sure how much sky I'd leave in if it were mine. I'd probably experiment with cropping. Looks like a serene, yet harsh environment in winter.

2 and 4 stand out to me, have tried tweeking the others in something like PS or Lr?

the last two are real winners!!! You might consider cropping the bottom one so there's not so much sky. I also like the tree sihouettes.

Cool shots. I like how unsaturated the images are. The pictures seem really unsaturated. Is that the result of editing. What was the post processing here if any?

The post processing was done in Lightroom. I lost ps when I installed windows 7. I hardly used it once I got Lightroom. I miss having the topaz plugins more than anything. I will try increasing the saturation on the next posts. I think one of my other posts seemed unsaturated. Thanks Gale

I quite like these...there's a real wintery mood about them. :)

I dont know that these pictures need the saturation. I think it conveys the mood of the scene much better the way it is. If the grass, trees, and bushes had a lot of color, the whole tone of the picture might change. God job here.

U66u I believe Topaz has a download available now that let's you use its plugins with LR. Also Photoshop Elements is fairly inexpensive and does all the photo editing that you will probably ever need at a fraction of the cost of Photoshop.
