This was taken Tuesday also. I have tried to use more saturation but to me it looks funny. I am curious to see if this comes out looking unsaturated.Could it be that the day was unsaturated (Very foggy) Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't mind the low saturation. In fact I think it suits the picture. I also like the softness. but if the colour is not how you think it should be check your camera- you might have the colours set to muted (or something like that).

I think that this photo has tons of potential. I would do some cropping though:
-take out all the sky, it doesn't add and perhaps crop on the right to just the other side of the bush and then take out the bottom right part of grass.

I dunno, my photos taken on the river in foggy conditions are pretty colorless as well. I shoot in raw with color balance set to auto. I have a feeling that is the way they are anyway. Mine tend towards greyness rather then sepia-ness though. I like the bleak winter shots you took here and on the other thread as well.

I shoot in raw with BW on auto also. Process in Lightroom and use shade for wb maybe I should try cloudy. Shade I find gives some shots more warmth.

Thanks Gail
PS Just checked and the wb is set at cloudy
