that is so cool. Was this compostion done from old pictures by someone back then or from today?

Definitely taken back then. Sydney looks nothing like that now. Sydney looks like Vancouver with double the skyscrapers!

Love all the old tall ships!!

That's something that sucks so bad about Brisbane. It's port area is crap and there's nowhere to go (that we are allowed) to get close to the mouth of the river to photograph ships. And the port is so ugly that Cruise ships rarely visit.

Here ya go ... Sydney Harbour from Air - panorama photo-360 degree QTVR (http://www.panoramas.dk/fullscreen6/f52-sydney.html) a modern view from the air. Sydney even has a Tower like Vancouver.

It was put together from prints taken back then.

oops sorry I wasn't clear. I know the pictures were old but wondered it the pano was created back then or now?

You get that huh Greg? People thinking Canada is that backward :) We get it about Aussie sometimes as well. Funny how you can be world leaders in several technogies but some still think you are a 3rd world country :)

OH yeah we get it. It is fun pulling their leg about having to go out and get the dog team harnessed because you just heard the seal migration is coming. They don't even consider that you are chatting on a computer to them.
