I have only shot 9 photos in going on maybe over 5 months. SO today the genius here goes and shoots maybe 36 photos and I was several hours just cruising about looking for some photos. Get home all stoked, unload the photos and then wham it hit me. I have not used that lens in over 7 months, it was soooo full of dust not a photo is worth saving. It could not believe I forgot to clean it. I clean my lenses all the time. I is like this time consuming thing I enjoy, but it has been so long that I forgot. Lost maybe 20 photos because of course that was the body and lens which were my faves today. Just make sure your lenses are clean before you shoot, trust me on the dolt move. The important thing I f*ckn finally got out just to take photos, I am impressed lol.

Just think, at least you got out and about and got a few shots in. We all screw up. Had a friend who did something very similar but it was a bad white balance for him. :headslap:

I am such a clean freack with my equipment I own the kit to clean my own censors. I hate dust, it is not my friend.:laughing::clown:

Now here is the real kicker, I never use two bodies and when I switch out lenses I clean them, it is second nature for me. First time I decide to use two bodies so I don't have to switch out lenses, see what happens. I should know better, but that could be said about many things.

Lol, it's good to know that even pros have their "D'oh" moments. Makes the rest of us kind of put our foibles in perspective. :)

LOL. I can top that. A friend of mine took almost an entire set of wedding photo's forgetting she'd put the camera in manual focus ealier. She was pretty desperate...

So don't sweat it, even the best of us do stupid things once in a while...
