So if I'm using cash instead of paying the bank to use my debit card I'm a terrorist?!? Holy crap, Batman! This is getting ridiculous.:wall-an:

You also are seen walking about with a camera spying on everything. You have been seen taking 'strange' photographs that definitely are not typical family shots. Onto the rack with you we can extract the confession, in time everyone confesses so the pain will stop :evil2:

OMFG. What is going on over there??? This is crazy. Are the people really inclined to either do this or think it's a great thing?

After 911 in the states the very same thing and it happens there as much, so Britain that has over 4,000,000 CCTV camera to watch the people all the time and this is not like in past year or that anything is different then America. They are the most watched people on the planet. And CCTV do nothing to protect, make secure, make much of a difference in apprehending suspects either. That was my huge issue with Vancouver the installation of CCTV, so this should be of no surprise, the TO cops put Cameras in what they call High Crime areas, so the poor areas is what they are saying. See Patriot Act in America, warrant less wiretapping, etc. and we are starting down that road too. And spying on citizens is not like anything knew, just they are more in your face about it now. This one area because of my political beliefs and stands I can speak of from personal experience.

Wow...I got an opinion on this one too....
I would be shocked if average Brits were into this....I'd bet the vast majority are against it...

To me this seems related to recent foreign policy changes like fighting in hugely unpopular wars. When you do that, you risk that some members (likely the vast vast vast minority) of your own multi-cultural country (and other countries) sympathize with some of the citizens of the country you've invaded. To combat this sympathy, we need the thought police. :twocents: just a personal opinion here.

And for those traveling to the UK with cameras, it might pay to know this

The UK went nuts years ago. Camera networks everywhere, xenophobia abounding in the government, and war in Iraq. On my list of countries I don't really want to visit.
