Probably not really that interesting to many of you but maybe to some.

We did a 77 km ride this morning and I took along my compact camera and squeezed off a few while pedaling along. Hard work actually because the road was very undulating so while I was busy playing with the camera I was often in the wrong gears for the climbs and then having to climb one handed because there was a camera in one of them! Good training though :)

Most Saturday's I ride with a local, social group who have been around many years. Last week I decided to build them a website that would allow them some interactivity. Their old one was a simple affair and often not up to date because only one guy had to find the time and motivation. Now they can all contribute because I built a Blog site based on Wordpress for them.

You can see it here and the post I just put up with some photos from this mornings ride with them.

Nice stuff MA...I'm still surprised that you can get such great shots while full steam on a bike.
I started back on mine this week...only pulled off 60 km but it's a start. I started riding to school this week and I want to bike to school 2x per week to start with increasing weather permitting....weather is so unpredictable this time of year though and ****eloads of gravel still on the roads which can be a bit scary... especially on hilly sections. I felt good though getting one school ride in this week. :)
I really have to invest in some shoes though...I don't want another stress fractured metatarsal from riding again this year. :(

Glad you like Casil.
I don't take the photos while at full stream though :) Most are taken while riding at about 20 - 30 kph at the most.

Yep ... baby steps. You gotta build up. I'm doing around 200 - 300 k's most weeks with an easy week of only 100 - 150 k's thown in each month. Keeps me fit and strong enough to enjoy the distances. We'll start doing longer rides soon when the weather cools a bit more.

Well when you come to Calgary...I have a friend who would love to take you for a long ride through the foothills/mountains. He does Ironman Canada every year and has a ton of routes so if you like he would take you out in a second. :)
BTW you can rent really decent bikes here if you can't bring yours.

I can see me definitely wanting to go on a few decent bike rides in the mountains :)
