Hey guys,

2 nights ago, while my wife was surfing the www, I had this :lightbulb that this image could represent for many of us the contemporary lonely nights, and I tried to represent this idea in this image.
The display light from the computer projected on the drapes create an "aura" that highlighted the moment.

What do you think ?

Or I can go with surreal effect, but I don't like the way LR2 exported :(

It's a really good shot Robert. I love the harsh light on her face (she's pretty) and also the way it falls away into a vignette. The curtain makes it looks homey and cosy. The face is sharp and there's a sparkle in her eye. Again ... really nice shot ... one of the best I've seen of yours I think.

Very well done shot and cool concept, Lovin. Your wife has really nice facial features that make for interesting photos. You should convince her to model for you more. :)

Ha ha. I feel a reshoot with a man behind the curtain staring on.. :P

Yeah, The B&W is the winner here.

And Kat is right, a man staring at her from behind the curtain would certainly be a little weird.

Oh yes. I think I can reshoot this one, and to create an horror feeling.
Hmm, thanks :)

I'm a little late to the party but I just wanted to re-iterate what everyone else has said. Great shot and great mood either way you want to take it.

Your wife has beautiful features in her face and is quite attractive. You have done her justice here I think...Nice work

Thank you MAW :)
She doesn't like at all how she looks in the photo. lol

She's probably not recognizing the strength of her profile. maybe do a session with her letting her direct:) I think it stems from looking at a picture of oneself that deviates from what we believe we project. It's not a glamor shot but rather a slice of life that places your wife in a wonderful scene in which, without trying, she managed to look very attractive. Good to see you shooting again by the way, unless I've missed a whole bunch of your posts in passing.

I just start shoot again, because my schedule looks a little bit clear this days, but because of the weather I'm pushed to be creative, and shoot inside.
Now, I'm working to an self portrait. Got the idea when I was cleaning the house.
