Thanks to JAS for this posting this website (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f3/learn-my-shot-8326.html).

I used the a slightly modified lighting set-up from the cutlery tutorial, and the spanner dropped in the water straight from their video demo, but switched the black tray for a white plastic one that I had to hand.

Still messing with selective colouring MA... here's hoping I can bring it back into fashion....

I can already hear the cries of 'mouthwash' from a certain someone. :)

Tough shot to selective colour indeed. I like the effect and play here also.

I never thought Selective Colouring was out of date to be honest. I used it from time to time ... should probably used it more often. But then I should find time to shoot more often as well :)

Thanks for looking everyone...

But then I should find time to shoot more often as well :)

Yeah I wish I had more time as well, I should be making the most of this week as my wife and kids are away... it's a shame I have to go to work...

I like the selective coloring! Great go at it!!! I don't know if I'd have the patience right now for it! :)

Thanks Ed,Kat and JAS, I set up this shot tethered so I could see straight away in LR if my timing was ok. I think I took about 40 shots, 30 of which were ok (ish).

I'm finding shooting tethered my favourite way to shoot still life/products or studio shots.
