Matt & Greg have a road trip

This morning we set off for a little road trip. Matt actually got out of bed to make it to my place by 6:30 am. So off we go, this is my first shot of the day:

After driving East on the flat prairie the Earth opens up. Many say this is years of erosion caused by water, but I know the true story a Scotsman dropped an penny down a Gopher hole and this is what he dug to get it back:

What a tremendous location. I had no idea there were formations like this in Canada. Reminds me of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Utah.
