Negative art

I've been photoshopping some pictures for my dad, and I got to playing around. The first one inverted it then changed the hue back to skin color.
The second one I distorded the head, inverted it and messed around with the contrast. Finally the third one I painted the eyes black then inverted it.

These are fun images to play around with but I would say that most of the rules should of what makes a good photo still follow. For the 2 horizontal images therefore, they should be seriously darkened on the left sides.
