I need to shoot that.

So I was out driving (changing plans) and went by this lovely scene. Turned around and went back.

It will be even better as the seasons progress.

Lovely front yard they have. I like the high pitch roof too.

Lovely rural scene nicely captured. Pitched roofs usually mean lots of snow M.A. :)

The owner of this house can be lucky with this daily view!

Yeah, they're lucky, but only a little. Once the view extended both sides of the house, but now there is a tacky subdivision to the right (you can see one house clearly). Lots of our former agrarian land is being taken up by commuters once the farm dies. It's sad, but what can you do except take pictures of it before it all disappears.

What a lovely shot! It just goes to show you that that place could be anywhere, meaning that it looks like it was taken near here in the Kawartha's. It makes me think also of the farms in the Hasting Highlands. Too bad about the subdivisions though.....

I totally understand the whole "quick, pull over thing" and I am glad you went back for the shot. It's a great scene. Thanks for sharing.
