Wow anybody ever had bad service from UPS? I actually told them to send back a package today.
They had me waiting from 10:30am yesterday until 8pm trapped in my house scared to talk to people on the phone for fear I would miss them at the door. Apparently the delivery person came by yesterday at 12:01pm but did not bother to ring the doorbell or drop off a second info notice. When I called to complain, I first got "sorry but there is nothing we can do" Second call got me at least to a dispatch in Calgary who said "they were very sorry" and they would get the delivery person there between 5 and 7pm...so there I sat...waiting, blowing off phone callers etc. The delivery person never showed up and so I call yet again and they said "they were very sorry" and would notify the Calgary dispatch again. :headslap:

I told them I would not be home tomorrow until after 11am and I did not appreciate waiting for 9.5 hours stuck in my house on a beautiful sunny day.,,,they said "they were very sorry".:wall-an:
So today they came at 9:30am and so I called them yet again to remind them I told them I would not be home at 9:30am but rather after 11am. I told them they have probably the worst service from any company I have ever dealt with and in the future if ANY company I plan to purchase anything from uses UPS as their form of delivery, I will not order from them...period. They said "they were very sorry" I told them yes I was well aware of how sorry they were as I have heard it about 3 dozen times now!

I told them essentially they can return the package back to wherever it came from (apparently Amazon although I have not ordered anything from Amazon since 2008 and there are no charges on my cards or anything else of late, present or past?????). They said they could try to deliver one more time but only after 1pm sometime in the afternoon and I told them no thanks I think waiting about 10 hours was more than enough... I was not prepared to wait any longer and to return the package...I'm effing done!!!
Still have no idea what they were trying to deliver to me....but at this point i really don't care as it is just so not worth the frustration of dealing with UPS and their crappy service. :yuck:

I was a gift. UPS is no good for residential delivery. Not that I'd use them for anything else if I can avoid it and my problem is with the moron department you know the ones that can't read a label and figure out your duty charges.

I know the feeling!!!! I am fighting with UPS in South Africa since Monday!! I am waiting for a package from the UK and they keep on telling me its on its way to me they dont know where the courier are. Phoned them 2 minutes ago they tell me it it still in the UK, due to the volcanic disruptions :shrug: SOOOOOO I just have to wait, but its not fair
