Here are two from yesterday, again in the town of Tilting, and taken using the new Sony 18-55mm SAM DT lens on my Sony Alpha. After spending some time with this lens, I can already see that it is better in every aspect than the old 18-70mm kits lens. No softness at all, sharp and clear right out to the corners, and very little barrel distortion, even at full wide. I am in fact totally amazed at how razor sharp it is at all ranges. The color rendering reminds me very much of the old Minolta glass.

A fantastic lens at a very reasonable price; in my opinion the best quality and value going, at least for this type of photography.

Couple of nice shots there. I really like number 2 where the walkway curves and the lines in the "deck". Nice stuff.:thumbup:

Lovely set - wonderful sharpness.:highfive:

Shot 2 is the stronger shot here imo - VERY nice fore-mid-background elements. If you like, I have a small critique on this image (it may have more to do with monitor differences than anything else).

Again, amazing pic's Camperbc.
I'll have to go against the others and say shot #1 for me. Tells more of a story about the subject.

Many thanks to all of you who posted such kind comments regarding these images; very much appreciated indeed!

PS: Marko, I am willing to bet that your small critique may be that they appear a touch blue on your screen, as I received that comment from someone else on another forum. My reply was "that is because it WAS blue". One would have to take that up with Mother Nature, I suppose.
