Still adorable. I gather that your geese are in fields and so forth. If that's the case, part of the reason I see larger broods is because there's a golf course, several office complexes, a couple of parks and some apartments near by that grow these convenient, tasty lawns. The geese gather in larger numbers, of course, which helps protect the little ones. That, and all the people who chase away dogs and feed them stale bread.

Thanks everyone. They sure are cute.
Most of our geese are in an area consisting of 1000's of acres of swamp, actually. This year there is a big drop in clutch size for sure. Will have to wait for second attempt by parents to see the outcome. Hope it is better.
