As Casil posted she very kindly picked my up Thurs morning and drove me to Banff (and all the places in between). It was an AWESOME trip and I think that C should hire herself out as a photography tour guide. I have approx 900 shots to process (well granted some are bracketed but still I have enough to keep me busy until fall). These are some shots on the way (can't remember where). It was cold. Really cold. Terry and Casil kept trying to say that it was getting nice. I would look at them and say flatly 'no it's not, it's still @#$$@@ cold.' and zip my coat a little tighter (thank god I was able to borrow my brother in law's coat! it was big but warm). Ok, enough whining, here's the shots:

Nice wintery shots of Alberta and you did not even have to wait for the -20 weather! Sorry it had to be so cold!

Serene yet jangled looking...still holding onto the chaos of winter. And yeah, it looks cold.

Ahh, grasshopper, you have managed to snatch the pebble from the master's hand. The rule of thirds helps you with composition when you are not sure what to do, however, you knew this time and pulled off a great shot! Love both of these..nice work.:thumbup:

Symmetry has taken over where the rule of thirds hasn't in that stump shot.
