This is my try on cyanotype process.This is 1:1 contact print and expose to direct sunlight for 30minutes...

Location: Charcoal Factory, Kuala Sepetang Perak, Malaysia

Seeing your work I looked it up. Never realised that was the origin of the "Blue Print". I would love to know more. Starts me wondering how "Blue Prints" were made I had assumed some sort of Photostat machine but now reading about it not sure.

Away from technical still good images.

It talks about fading and how unlike most photos putting in a dark place re-generates them.

I would love to know more.

P.S. I have German half plate camera I wonder if I could use it with this process? I realised looking at hours of exposure but would be fun!

thanks guys...those image are captured with Nikon D200 and transfered to digital negative (print as negative on OHP paper..) if you dont have a large format... you can do this with your digital cam also...

f.y.i. me and few buddies just recorded the video on how to process your own cyanotype prints....this process have been demonstrate by my alt. photography teacher (morpheuse (http://morpheuse.livejournal.com/)). Still doing some editing process, and once the vid is uploaded on the net, i'll inform you guys...
