This 3 metre beauty was resting about 1 metre above my head while I was taking photos of flowers on Sunday morning.

That is ssooooo cool! All we get is the odd Ratsnake here of any size, and they only get to 8 ft. max.

We have about 3 of these in the shed at work. Mum's about this size and her babies are about half as big now.

what a beauty!

no worries Casil, you get the spiders, I'll get the snakes.
does the cloudy eye mean he/she is getting ready to shed?

No idea! Although that does sound familiar. JJ will know.

Cool snake. You say it's in a shed? It doesn't look like it's on a branch in a tree or anything. 3 meters is an awfully big pet!

This one is on a steel beam in the Cactus House (a shelter) at the botanical gardens.

We have some in one of the work sheds I frequent when doing my carpentry work. When I say 'shed' though ... you could just about turn a 'Semi' (Tractor/Trailer unit) around in there.
