"Picture The Cure is a Fundraiser taking place June 26th, 2010 at the Gerry Thomas Gallery in Calgary Alberta.
By joining Picture The Cureʼs team of artists, your name will appear in our program, posters and web page to help expand your clientele. Most importantly, your donation will help sustain a future for women affected by cancer. Funds raised will be donated to The Weekend To End Womenʼs Cancers. For more information about the Weekend to End Women's Cancers please visit endcancer.ca.
Picture The Cure will include a silent art auction, a fashion show by Eleven:Eleven Boutique and appetizers by The Keg. Local wine from Field Stone Winery will also be featured as they are one of our sponsors. This event raises much needed funds for the Alberta Cancer Foundation, supporting breakthrough research, screening initiatives and patient programs in the battle to end both breast and gynecologic cancers.
Please contact Evelyn Drake at evelyn@thecamerastore.com by June 15th, 2010 if you are interested in donating a piece of your art work. If you would like to make a cash donation, you can visit the Picture The Cure Team page.
If you would like to attend this event, $10 advanced tickets will go on sale on Monday June 1st, 2010.
