A few days ago, my region experienced one of the worst storms in decades. With numerous tornadoes ripping through the area, a local high school was totally destroyed. The day before their graduation was supposed to be held, one of the tornadoes made their graduation impossible. With 7 people now gone, families have lost literally everything they have worked for. They need all the help they can get now. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

(I have placed this in the nature section because I do not believe this captures anything man made. Although the physical elements involved have been made by man, the arrangement is what nature has created)

how awful! I am sorry for the loss and the devastation this has caused. These pictures capture the destruction very well.

Holy crap! I had heard a blurb on the news but, really, your images really bring it home much better than the news cameras. I hadn't realized it was so bad.

We also had a tornado ruin some homes only last week. Australia gets way more tornado's than most people realize but not the monster 5's you guys get up there JJ.
Your photos sure ram home the destruction they cause.

That look horrid, glad we don't have them. I never bothered with my graduation seemed a lot of money for cap and gown for one day. However I have since regretted it and I can understand how anyone who has worked there way through University would want their day.
Looking at damage surprised not more dead!
Bet it's rebuilt quicker than here. Floods took down a bridge earlier this year and seems new one will be years in building and not a big river.
