    I like the composition of how the dial wraps from corner to corner.

    Are the flowers too distracting in color? This looks like the metal would have some nice weathered colors to it. Either way, the composition works.

    I like it! This scene is perfect for black and white. While I bet that the patina on that sundial is beautiful, I think the image would lose some of its impact in color.
    Keep an eye on that 'Tools of the Trade' project thread in the assignments forum...I try to add new pictures often!

    Yes the flowers were a bit distrating and I liked the curved lines. The actual sundial is spherical and I took this with a wide angle lens with my camera inside the sphere.

    Both are nice but I think I prefer the B&W one.

    Great image. Definitely like the b&w version better. The focus is more strongly directed to the engraving on the sundial. Also really like how you cropped the shot.
