    Default Rapper

I went to an outdoor concert this past summer just to try and get a few shots of the attendees and performers. When I got there I walked in from behind the stage thinking it was just an open concert. I was stopped by two security guards that told me I had to have a ticket. I told them to point me to the ticket booth and I'd pay the $10 price, I just wanted to take some pics of the event. To make a long story short I wound up being taken to the head promoter and I explained to him I was an amateur/hobbyist photographer and was wanting to pay the $10 ticket price to photograph the event. He reached in his back pocket and pulled out a VIP pass that gave me access to anywhere I wanted to go, including on stage. WOW was I happy! This is one from a rap group.

EDITED: I originally posted only this one but wanted to add a second. They are both from the same group.

    Thank you for viewing.

What a great story. I always imagine this happening on a lucky day - but it never does. Good on you.

Super shots too. If you share your shots with the promoter, you may get a regular gig.

Awesome for you, and really like that second one also.

terrific story! I like both of them but agree that the second is the best. Bet the promoter would like them as well.

Thank you Bambi, HBG and Matt. I gave the promoter my web address, different website that I have now, and he checked them out. He said he liked them but I guess he sees so much of that, that it wasn't that big of a deal for him. I've yet to send the group the pics. That's me, MR procrastinator!
