    Thanks AT.

Costco have just opened up here last year. Actually printing and framing aren't too badly priced, and I am happy to do it myself to some extent. To be honest, the actual cost isn't a major issue for me. Mine was more of a generic whinge about Marko's point about cost differentials.

Back in the day I used art glue to attach prints to acid free boards and paint or use texta (I think you call them sharpies) on the edges. It actually worked quite well, although I mainly did it as I liked the creative aspect of it.

In these days when everyone has a camera and printing is so accessible, I think post processing and display presentation is where you will be able to stand out from the crowd. It is something I would like to experiment with more, and am inspired by some aluminum & stainless steel medium I have seen. I also like MBragers post Washi Suncatchers. My current idea is to mount photos in non traditional shapes (other than traditional rectangular). Say round, elliptical or even free-form shapes
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos

The high value of the US Dollar isn't helping either. With the current exchange rate at 1 USD = approx 0.80 CDN (and I think the AUS dollar similar) it makes a bad situation even worse.
I'm planning on retiring this year and would like to go on some photography workshops, however it seems that almost all are in the US or priced in US dollars. I'm just not going to pay that extra premium. By the way why aren't there many any Canadian workshops. If there are, I'm not seeing them.

Sorry AT, I got carried away like Runmonty. - Just love these two pics. especially the first one. You have really captured the mood. Well done.
