Very Cool :highfive:
Very well done! I'd love to see more along this line.
Nicley done!
Wow, nice. Can you share your secrets on how you got that shot? :)
Thanks for the comments pips.
The "Secrets" to this shot are:
Setup:
A pint glass upside down in a saucepan, with marbles balanced on top.
Black Card behind.
40w Fluorescent desk lamp to the right and slightly behind.
Water being poured over from a jug above.
Slow shutter speed to get a bit of a flow of water 1/4 Sec
Timing and the ability to pour with one hand whilst operate the shutter via remote with the other, and the ability to curse out loud the first 30 times cause you can't co-ordinate yourself heh.
Photoshop to adjust curves and levels a bit.
Thanks for sharing your secret sauce! :highfive:
MMMMMMMMMMMMM sauce.
I really like this kind of stuff - very cool. Love the green tint in the marbles! It's amazing what kind of detail you can find in small, photogenic objects.
I also really like the use of water - I'll try me some of that, methinks! :)
In fact, just a couple of weeks ago I was doing something pretty similar to your image (no water, but glass) - I'll repost them in another thread in a sec.
