From a colour perspective I like the overall appearance. From a composition perspective it is not clear what your main subject is. I know it is really the statue , but the building and windows compete for the viewers eyes.
So what to do?
It looks like a bright sunny day, so increasing you aperture to get a shallower depth of field is not possible (you've already reduced your shutter speed to 1/8000s and your already down to f/2.2 on a 50mm prime on a full-frame sensor - you're in a corner). If all you have handy is your 50mm and you can't get any closer to your subject then the only thing would be to frame this shot in portrait mode and do some cropping in post process. That way you can reduce some of the distracting background.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
MikeV
