    Default composition critique?

Please critique, especially the composition! In search for the "perfect" set of rocks, or combination of rocks, i have found it difficult to find, and often takes a lot of walking around the beach. However, I am trying to get the best composition for my current location.
    Thanks!

First instinct I have here is that for me, this image does not look like it's about the rocks.
The rocks are there, sure, but rocks are not commanding the attention you want.
I see foot-prints, lots of water - quite a bit of unevenly polarized sky due to the wide angle....lots of stuff to take us away from focusing on the rocks.
So for me, this composition does not work. Cropping the sky and possibly sky and some water would bring much more attention to the rocks. Might be an option to play with to see if it works. You'd definitely need to burn in the uneven areas of sky though.

If it's easy i might suggest a re shoot. Personally I like the footprints and the rocks. They work together to suggest a lovely resting place to watch the sunset, drink beer, make love or all 3.
I might concentrate on making those elements the focal points and not including so much water. That's 1 possibility of many many possibilities. I'm a crazy angle hunter but the best angles support 'the story' in some visual way.
    Hope that may help.

To me it seems like you tried to lead the viewers`eyes to the far sky horizon by the triangle formed by rock and sand and `literally`by the footprints. It it`s true then it`s interesting but I suggest focusing on the far horizon instead of the triangle of footprints, sand and rocks instead. However if you do this the water and horizon will be your main subject, definitely not the rocks and sand.

I agree with both Marko and DHA. The footprints over take the rocks and the rocks lead my eyes to the horizon.

And I concur with what's already been said with one additional mention, if you are going to include a horizon take the time to level it. It's off just so slightly but enough that I think all the water is going to pour out the left side of the frame.
