yeah the bright windows pull me away too but tegan yes you got the lamp. The reason it was distracting to me was cause it was just floating.

wow, this is beautiful... i love how you turned the green trees in the foreground that violet color. and the windows look almost ghostly!

i found an easy way on my paintshop pro program, how to tilt the picture to make it appear more straight on - if you happen to have the same program, go to 'image'>'rotate'>'free rotate', (maybe 1.00 to the right) then adjust the edges by cropping a tiny bit.

For the colours, I used a software colour solarization filter as a plug-in which works in Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop. Unfortunately it is a commercial product but I found software photo filters to be very useful.

The symetry problem is due to the fact that the building itself is curved with the left and right edges closer than the middle. Compounding that was the fact that I was at an unavoidable lower camera angle than I would have prefered having to shoot with a wide angle focal length. I tried the various straighten and anti-distortion modes in PaintShop Pro and Photoshop and still did not get the right symetry.

    Thanks for the comments.
