    Hi Forrest,

Welcome! This is an interesting shot. I like the natural curves in the statue which adds interest. I also like the reflection in the statue's bum. The contrast in the statue looks nice.

The grass looks a bit muddy and I would try to increase the contrast in the grass a bit. I think (not sure though) that the shot would be stronger if you cropped the top ubtil the edge of the grass and the bottom of the photo to just under the waist to the grassline. (I do see a little frog or turtle or rock at the bottom left ...but for me it is too small.)

    Hope that helps,

    Marko

    Default Cropped !

Thank you so much for your reply.
This was my first post ever.
I enjoy your podcast, and find this forum more focused on tech issues than the french ones I know.

Is this treatment any better ? The sun glare's color is lost in B&W.

Thanks so much for the compliments Forrest.

I like this version better. For me it is less flat and less distracting than the previous bw version.

    Best!
