Default Photoshop CS6 beta is free for now

Just in case people don't know...

There is a beta version of Photoshop CS6 that is out now that is FREE. I have been using it now for 2 weeks and it works very well. Adobe Labs | Previews, prereleases and beta software from Adobe

I don't know how long it will stay on your computer before "expiring".

    Thanks Marko,

Does anyone know what is happening with the subscription / upgrade path. I had been led to believe that CS6 will be subscription only, but now I understand that you may be able to upgrade from CS3,4,5 without subscribing

I am currently using PSE 8 and had been considering upgrading to Photoshop, but was waiting for the newer version. If is goes subscription only I may be best to stick with PSE, or I will have to buy CS5 and then upgrade? Throw Lightroom in the mix and it gets quite confusing.
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos

found this at the following link about CS5.5, dunno if CS6 will be similar:

Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium is $135.00 per month on a month-to-month basis and $89 per month if paid for an annual plan. (That's $1620 and $1068 respectively for those without a calculator handy.) The full version of Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium is $1799, so if you're a glass-half-full type that means that you save around $700 to use CS5.5 before Adobe likely releases a 6.0 (at which time you'd likely just subscribe to the next package).
