I thought a black and white version would draw the viewers attention more to her face rather than her colorful jacket and hat. I debated cropping some off of the right side but then her face seemed to far... I caught the fist time my daughter saw a Canadian Goose flying over head in the photo below. I thought a black and white version would draw the viewers attention more to her face rather than her colorful jacket and hat. Something I staged and worked on. It has more meaning than I had originally anticipated. Critique I guess.

The king is entrapped with his queen. The queen must either step in front of her husband, this would eliminate her. It portrays the love of the king and queen in a way that is simply profound. I really had no idea it could mean so much. Also, their is a reference to christ in the picture I had not even anticipated.

This is John Webb's Mill in Thaxted, a village about 5 miles away from Saffron Walden where I live. I've photographed it before, but it recently had its sails replaced so it looks more like a windmill now and not just a short fat lighthouse. The sky was very clear and boring so I've gone for some stronger PP.
