"The Photographer’s Ephemeris
A while back I wrote about software that allows landscape photographers to track moonrises, and with a little math to know when and where to be to place the moon precisely in a photograph. The problem is, that software was more for astronomers than photographers. Thankfully PhotoNaturalist has pointed out a moonrise software that’s geared toward photographers—and he features an in-depth review at his web site. The Photographer’s Ephemeris, as the program is known, certainly appears to offer a more visual and simplified solution for finding vantage points for dusk photography. And since it was developed by a photographer, it’s bound to be easy to understand even if you don’t speak “astronomy.”
I just installed it and planning playing with it later, seems like it will be a good tool for those who do any type of outdoor photography.
