I've just got back from my holiday in the lake district, and am ploughing though hundreds of photographs now seeing if I've got any keepers. It turns out I'm too lazy to get up in time for the golden hour so I don't expect to many good ones.
The weather wasn't to kind either , I shot this one in the drizzle, and had to constantly keep drying the lens. I had to work fast as the drizzle soon turned into heavy rain.
Still lake Wastwater, one of the places we visited on a day trip was really beautiful, I had to work hard to keep my kids as well as the other toursits out of the shot.
I look forward to catching up on all the new posts here over the next couple of days.
Beautiful landscape, and nice post processing.
I really like this one.

Oh - that looks wonderful cool refereshing. I like the treatment here (Orton + HDR?).
it has a mystical feel to it. Sort of Lord of the Rings-ish.![]()
