    I thought it might be some sort of aircraft landing marker. Assuming there's a landing strip within a few meters of course

    Seems a bit crude for that but it's well within the vicinity of YVR so who knows. My guess was that is had something to do with ship navigation as it belongs to a large group of markers dotting this areas coastline but that's just a guess
    And when exactly are the "Cows" due home?
