    I am 17 years old, and live roughly in the middle of England, about as far from the coast as it is possible to get in the British Isles (so no nice coast shots for me!). I am very new to photography (I got my first camera at Christmas), and my equipment (a point and shoot camera and free online photo-editing programmes) is very limited, but I still hope to learn a lot here.

    I've been browsing the site for a few days, and it seems like the sort of place where I could learn to be a better photographer, and then get advice on a better camera and some equipment to improve my photos further.
