Hi there from Germany

Hi everybody, I'm Jan from Heidelberg Germany.

My interest in photography grew steadily in the last 6 Years until I finally got my first DSLR for my birthday last October. So I'm practically as green as can be.

After lurking around here and the podcast for some time now, I couldn't hold back, with Marko always poking the lurkers to start getting active. (In his most lovely, cheerfull canadian way and rightly so

)

I use a Nikon D70, which serves me well and which I probably won't outgrow for the next few years.

I like shooting pretty much everything, although only around 3 % of the pictures I take actually look somewhat the way they looked in my mind.

I'm looking foward to getting great tips and suggestions as well as inspiration and motivation to get myself out there to shot, which lately seems to be the biggest problem.
