July is almost here...anyone have any suggestions on a theme?
thx - Marko
Well, once I saw here a snake from MA (stuffed animal - the snake, not MA). That inspired me some weeks ago to take shots from my friends self made teddy bears.
I guess everyone here (even the men ;-)) will have one. How about "showing our stuffed friends"? Just a little crazy guess.
Since it is summer perhaps buskers, street vendors or entertainers, outdoor festivals, outdoor concerts or pancake breakfasts (Stampede starts next week).
We could do a colour, maybe yellow? Just a suggestion...
How about Heat?
How do you photograph heat?
I'll vote for the music or summer concert theme.
That's part of the challenge.....Interesting!How do you photograph heat?
I like this suggestion - any other Ideas?
On July 1, the idea with the most support wins.
I got this idea from another photo forum and kinda liked it- Out of Focus. Shots that are out of focus but still work somehow.
Or, if we'd rather have something more summery- what about water?
Heat sounds interesting to me. I'd like to see some first though. It's been raining/foggy since Thursday and the forecast has rain/fog/cloud through to Sunday.
Heat or hot, and for our down under crowd just remember you don't know cold
I like the idea of heat.
If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
(I vote heat)

I'll go first. Fireworks, I find, are a little tricky but HOT and I think this one turned out OK and it was taken on July 1st so I think this at least puts me in the right category.

Okay here is mine we had a fire in the bushes and this makes the perfect heat for the image

I think the trick is to wait until near the end of the month so the post doesn't get forgotten, but I'll jump in early nonetheless.
This sparrow was a masochist and stayed in the summer heat although he was heavy panting as you can see
