Under bridges has a tendency to be scary any time of the year here in Calgary, even the under passes we have to walk on to get to downtown on 4th, 5th and 8th streets can be scary at times.

Karma is a wonderful thing: darling hubby (the one I chose above all others) was on the phone last night inviting MIL, SIL and her husband for thanksgiving lunch and could I have it all ready by say 1-ish??
Not sure which turkey to stuff at the moment.

on a more disturbing level, this one is of one of the people in the memorial to the Famine in Dublin. The picture does not capture the power of the memorial:
