I thought there was a sticky explaining how this forum works...hmm, I'll create one now.

Every month members suggest an assignment topic and the suggestion with the most support becomes the assignment for that month. Members then go out to shoot and then post result(s) in that month's assignment thread.

Although the vast majority of members will shoot something after the topic is chosen, if a member chooses a shot that was taken recently, for me that's good enough. At the end of the day these assignments are personal learning tools.
