And so far that's what I view it as...A cult! I've voiced this on other forums and am always told what an amazing camera the Holga is, all twenty dollars worth of it. I'm told repeatedly that there are some astounding Holga shots on the net but as yet I've yet to see them. Do any of you have links you could share to this so called GREAT Holga work? All I'm seeing at this time is a bunch of crazed fanatics in love with a light leaking plastic lensed twenty dollar toy
And when exactly are the "Cows" due home?

I dont have a scanner but I do have some good Holga shots. I love doing double exposure stuff. I dont see it as a cult but a different type of photography. Now Canon nuts, there's a cult. Holgas will take bad shots and great clear sharp images it just depends on how you tweek your camera. I dont like low res scans as they just dont do the images any justice. They need good old fashioned dark room printing or $300 drum scans. Give it a shot you may like it.

    I'm with you Michael.

But it's not a syndrome just for photography.

We see it in cycling as well. In an age of the greatest leaps in cycling history people ride around on single speed peices of crap and call them 'better' ... which I wouldn't mind if they would shut up and just ride their bikes instead of constantly telling me I should also be riding one the same. They shoulod do they need to to keep themselves happy (or justify their current position in life) and I'll what I need to do.

McGuyver uses the Holga! I think it's an arty thing most of all. You will see art students with them. The results are unpredictable but you know for $20 bucks (more like 30-65) it's a fun toy, I guess.

Vincenzo's photo's, are they cross processed as well?
