Beware AVG update

    I don't fully understand why or who it will effect but when my AVG 9.0 updated itself it disabled my internet. I had to uninstall then reinstall the AVG software. Online, some are saying it's not possible for AVG to disable your browser but trust me ....It can and will!
    And when exactly are the "Cows" due home?

    Oh no , I can't believe you're using that one.
    If you want to use something free and very good, use Avira or F Secure.
    One of my friends is a programmer at Avira Gmbh, and he gave me a link to one of the biggest labs for virus tests (Virus Bulletin : Independent Malware Advice).
    Avira, F Secure are one of the bests, not the best, there is no THE BEST, like in everything.

    Check the link that I gave you, subscribe there and check the latest tests.
    AVG has a good marketing, and that's all.

    I'm using Avira on PC for more than 2 years, I payd the premium one, and I had no problems at all.

    I stopped using AVG a while ago. I've been using AVAST which has been quite good.

    I've switched to Microsoft's free (I'm also cheap!) antivirus. I'm thinking if anyone knows what doesn't belong in Window's it should be them!

    Well when I installed it I got a message saying I only had 30 days left and must register

    yes but registration is free. I've used it for 2 years now and updated my registration annually.
